When a friend of mines cousin was dying in the hospital, she did want to go see her because she didn't want her last memory of her cousin laying in a hospital bed. I'm not saying this is how you feel but, just because you havn't gone to see her doesn't make you a bad person. I hope everything is ok with the family :(
